Canadian fined for turning left while on his Segway

OK, so this Ontario guy is riding his segway on a sidewalk, then makes an illegal left turn. BAM sirens on, here come the cops. He's fined for making an illegal left turn, then fined even more when he doesn't produce a segway license or show that he has insurance for it.

But it turns out that Ontarioan (?) laws say nothing about segways; people don't know if they fall under the scooters or motorized vehicles category....

Oh Canada..... :yikes:
