The results said Roeper got second but at the place we didnt get awarded second. can someone please explain why?

we got an email that said you guys would recieve an additional trophy at the championship next saturday

As was previously mentioned, there was a glitch in how a penalty was assigned during one of the early matches that affected the rankings. There was an e-mail sent out to all team contacts that explained the situation fully. Roeper will be recieving an additional 2nd place trophy at the Championship for their actual ranking at the Lamphere event. The decision was made to obtain an additional trophy so that the teams who did recieve the trophies at the Lamphere event would not be forced to relinquish their trophy due to a glitch in how the rankings were calculated at the event itself.
