I have gotten to know some FIRSTers, but not to the point of finishing sentences for them... I dont think.

Have you ever had a hard time making a connection between how someone looks and acts outwardly, to what you know about their personality and who they are?

yes .. soccer a few years ago .. banned for the rest of the game .. apparently I was too aggressive .. and yelling at the ref that she tripped you right after you've been yellow carded is never a good idea .. oh well ... now hes my boss and its all good ...

I was in Paris a few years ago watching the Sun Set over the Basilica de la Sacre Coeur from the 2nd Level of the Eiffel Tower and I still get the imagine in my head at times, it was soo cool.

Well, I have had robotics taken away from me for not performing well enough academically. I agree that it is extraordinarily unpleasant.

But having experienced other things that are unpleasant, I know that there are FAR worse things that can be taken away from you besides robotics.
