Re: Team Mottos
well our original motto is "its only temporary... unless it works" we were going to go with "arbitrarily complex" last year but we stuck with the original.

Re: Team Mottos
Team 1168's motto is "Bots Back In Business", demonstrating that we're back in a new year (despite fairly heavy losses due to graduation) and we're going to do even better this year than last year.
And yes, we tend to be on the "less serious motto" side of the debate. :) |
Re: Team Mottos
Our last team motto was "Adapt and Overcome" but at a recent meeting, we changed it to "Citius Altius Fortius" (Faster, Higher, Stronger).
I think both are pretty darn good but the club picked the second one. |
Re: Team Mottos
team 527's motto this year is "our dragon breathes fire, especially when wired incorrectly"

Re: Team Mottos
Team 599, the Robo-Dox from Granada Hills in CA have tried to relate their motto to the name of the robot each year and they express the sentiments of the team after working long hours. (The first two years we didn't use this idea for the motto.) Someone asked, so here they are:
2001- Robot: "The D.O.C.T.O.R." (Drastically Over-Complicated Team Operated Robot) Motto: "Deus Ex Machina" (Somebody had to use it...) 2002 - Robot: "The Surgeon, M.D." Motto: "Deus Ex Machina" 2003 - Robot: "The Therapist" Motto: "So... Do you want to talk about it...?" 2004 - Robot: "The Dentist" Motto: "Now...This won't hurt a bit..." 2005- Robot: "The Psychiatrist" Motto: "Its all in your head - er, programming" Suggestions for 2006? -Mr. Van Coach, 599 |
