Bumper Sticker
 

Today when I got off the train in Florida, and was heading to my new home, I saw an I heart (the symbol, not the word heart) FIRST bumper sticker. It was really exciting to see that going down the road. I guess now that I live in Florida FIRST may be a more widely know program.

Where in florida did u see this? I live here in miami, ive never seen anything through the wole state. Where are you living now?

I know someone sent them out to people through the old CD forums about 4 months ago or something. He made them himself and gave them out. I forget who it was though.

You might be thinking of the FIRST window stickers... which Nate Smith made and sent out to people... i haven't seen any FIRST bumper stickers in the connecticut area....

That was me, but they were window stickers with just the FIRST logo, not what Carolyn was talking about seeing. However, I just found some new window sticker stock, so I might make something else up...keep watching the forums for info...

I know you can buy the bumper sticker stock too for inkjet printers ;) (yeah, I tend to buy all of this at one time or another for FIRST related stuff...) So perhaps whoever it was in FL (though I now see all the FIRSTers in the US chasing after cars looking for this person) bought some of that....

Well, when saw the sticker I was outside Sanford, near Orlando, it was definately a bumper sticker and it was on a white Chevy(?) SUV. As tired as I was it really woke me up. I now live in Orange Park, just outside of Jacksonville.

We print bumper-stickers there. They are expensive, though I get 25% off. I'm sure if there were enough willing people to put in a buck, with the money pooled we could all get ourselves a bumper sticker that said I HEART FIRST... Maybe we could also have a graphic design contest and vote for the fave graphic we would all want... Wacha all think???

so now theres gonna be about 300 plus people (figure, 251 registered members, plus guests) stalkign a random white chevy suburban or tahoe, with (i assume) florida lisence plates and an i heart first bumper sticker

Sounds good to me. I think we should get a really good looking bumpersticker out there.

Hi Folks,

Well I've had a "bumper sticker" (which is really a print out the size of a bumper sticker I print out on normal paper and put in the back window of my car) for a while. It says "My Other Car is a FIRST robot." It includes the FIRST web address and a picture on one of my old team's robots.

If anyone out there has had success affording or finding a good inkjet bumper sticker solution would be willing to share....I am all ears.

I like the idea of FIRST bumper stickers mad by us. I'd be willing to chip in some money if someone started making them, I'd also like to help. We could market them at comps.
