Ornithopter
 

I recently discovered an old post on slashdot that had details about a full scale ornithopter that was being built. Check it out!

If you're not familiar with an ornithoper, its basically an airplane that flaps its wings to fly. It looks incredibly impressive.

im not exaclty sure what "full scale" means, but very interesting. now once they get this working now for the humanpowered one!. da vinci would be proud :D
