Hey everyone,
As you are all most definitely aware, its that time of year again, and
for the third season running the Tigertrons will be holding a screening
of the kickoff @ The Dietrich
Theater
. Anyone who wants to make the trek to good old Tunkhannock is welcome to come and watch kickoff live one of theater screens. Doors will be open at 9:30 and the event will last until whenever the web cast is over.
Directions are very easy: follow route 6 toward route 29 (or follow
29 toward 6), the theater is on the corner of these two routes right
in the middle of Tunkhannock.
Official address:
Dietrich Theater
60 E. Tioga Street
Tunkhannock, PA 18657
Also, on their website there is a picture of a map from map quest and a
link to map quest for directions. This contact page can be found
here.
If you have any questions you can give post em' or PM me or any of the
Tigertrons. If you are planning on attending I would ask if you
could please post.
Thanks,
-Henry

p.s.---See you at the Dietrich!:D

wow, thats awesome! if I weren't going to the kickoff in Manchester, I would definitely be there. How did you get a theater to do this?

We, the Tigertrons, are a very community involved team. We do different projects for the theater whenever they ask, in return, I guess you could say as a form of sponsorship along with other things throughout the year), they let us use one of the two screens for kickoff every year since we have had the idea of asking. They allow us to use their DSL connection and projector (non-film mind you) . The only real problem with all of the organizing it is making the 100' cat 5 cable.
I also work there but that doesn't affect their decision to let us use the theater :p, it just helps in the organization.
