How well do you treat your engineers?

And your other adult volunteers? The students on my team are pretty great! One student would bring in candy and cookies and offer first choice to the adults. There have also been some great massages given by students. And they even hired our head engineer, Dave, his own personal hairstylist:

So, come on, what did you do nice for your engineers?

Give a man a slinky, and he thinks he rules the world. Give a man two slinkies, and it completely blows his mind.

We give them bubble baths.

Eh, not really. :D

Jeff Waegelin 23-03-2002 19:50

Engineers? What are those?

Jim McGeehin 23-03-2002 20:09

Well, we didn't hire a hair-stylist or anything like that. But I know the engineers know that they're really making a difference in our lives, and they are seen as positive role models. Being seen as a positive role model once, I know that it is a miraculous feeling that surpasses any material gift.

Are you kidding? My engineers/advisors are my heroes!!
GWRoss, RickV, Chris H, and the rest of you who don't read these posts, i love you guys!!! Where would our team be without you??

Dave is not an engineer! Hes just a old fart that has a really cool garage and is really smart and is tons of fun, so we let him stay.
:D

we were sponsored by verizon last year and we got an engineer from them. a really nice guy named sullivan. this year verizon didn't sponsor us, but sullivan came down almost everynight of the 6 weeks on his own free time. when he got out 3-piece telescoping arm working we made a video of him working the arm with the sound clip of chris farley's "el nino" SNL skit.

We have fun with our engineers let me put it that way.

With the exception of the baldness its kinda hard to tell the engineers from the kids at our pit, we all enjoy it equally, treat eachother equally and enjoy begin with eachother.

I don't know what you're going on about, you students are the ones who would be giving the bubble baths... Oh, and stay away from the flowery bubble stuff, you wouldn't want to injure anyone's manly pride, now would you? May I suggest something with bergomot in it?
