Tivo-ing Kickoff

If I remember right, kickoff is on NASATV, I get this channel at home. I'm trying to Tivo the event, but it only shows up as "education file" (like about half of the other programs on that channel). Is this what I'm supposed to record? Any help=thanks.

NASA TV airs a variety of programs, and I dont think they have set program blocks (its just one big feed of random stuff?) Your best bet is to manually set the tivo to record the Kickoff, which airs between 10:00AM - 12:00PM EST tomorrow, January 8th.

I would not set it to record right at 10 until right at 12.
It may be late to start, and thus run late.. It did this last year.

Is there a way to just hit record on Tivo at the time it starts manually, and then turn it off manually?

That's what I'm probably going to do for the Kickoff on VHS.

And, just fyi, a FIRST logo is usuaslly displayed on the screen when the event is about to begin, but may be up there for a while.. That's why, I tend to keep my hand on the trigger so to speak, and hit record when I hear somebody talking.

The education file starts at 8:00, so I won't have any trouble with it going early. I'm also recording what's coming on next just in case.
