Who's missing parts?
 

Who is missing parts from their kit and what are you missing? We are missing the LED clusters, a Globe motor, a Van door motor, and maybe some small other stuff. Also, the one Van Door motor we got had a red sticker on it. On the sticker was the hand written word "Bad" That does not put confidence in me. (But overall a very nice kit).

We're missing the LEDs and I have no idea what else. I wasn't there when they were doing the inventory.. hoping they did the inventory correctly, buuut I think I should be able to trust them.

We are also missing a Globe and a Van Door motor as well as the two hall effect sensors. :(

We are also missing the LED clusters, a globe motor, a van door motor, and something to do with pneumatics i think. We also had some discrepancy of the part numbers of the window motors, but don't think it should be a big deal. Everything else looks great and can't wait to dig in.

You are to pick up the LED's at the regional events this year and mount them there. (questionable, but we have to accept that=)). We are also missing motors as well (the same ones i believe)

Hmmm, no light cluster here either... Our servos arent the right part number too. We are also missing a 2 window motors and im sure something else.

We are missing the same two motors, globe and van door (we have 1 of each but the inventory says 2) as well as we are unsure about only having 1 pneumatics tank and we are missing a couple little things from pneumatics (just a few fittings, not a big deal)


As j flex said, it lists the LED clusters as something you recieve AT the event, somewhat odd i thought, but not a big deal.


Mike, as far as the hall effect sensors - look carefully, we found our hall effect sensors in the bubble wrap bag with the accelerometer actually stuck to the metal housing of the accelerometer (they are very small, only about 1/4" dia. and pretty short w' 4 pins sticking out of them.)

As J Flex mentioned, and as it says on the checklist, we don't get the LEDs until we get to the competition. I don't know what the logic is there, but whatever. Just make sure you have a place to mount them. Our team is missing a Globe (not that we care all that much... we really didn't much like them last year) and a few random small things.
Oh man... and they still put it in your kit? :eek:

That's where ours were too. It looked like part of the accerlerometer to me. Those really should have been in a separate little bog with how small they are.

Yes, and the Chiaphua motors were sitting in water. Not much water, but some components like the tetra connecters (luckily that is all) were just soaked. We were able to drip a little stream of water out of the fisher price gearboxes.

Seems to be a common issue. We also were missing a globe and Van Door motor as well as some pnuematic stuff.
As far as the window motors go - the jideco is identified on the part, but the other one isn't and the part number on the side doesn't match what the bill of materials identifies it as, but I know that it is the other window lift motor because of the gear on the end is the same and it fits the plastic coupling included in the kit.
We also got another motor (looks kinda like a drill motor in a bag with 2 sensors - I think) but I don't see that motor listed on the bill of materials, any help?

We were missing the hall effect sensors, we found them hidden in the accelerometer module sensor. check there

we are also missing a globe motor and a master chain link i think that is it.
The Mabachi motor isn't in the kit, ours was handed to us as we walked out the door with our kit of parts

We are missing a globe, a lead wire assembly, and a chain link.

Meaubry - maybe the mabuchi? It's in a different grouping on the list of parts.

I think the lead wires are attached to the pilot valves.

I wasn't able to find the taigene motor on the missing parts form...although admittedly I was sleepy...anyone else see it?

I think we're missing the Hall Effect Gear Tooth Sensors, but they may be in the Accelerometer bag, I'll have to check tomorrow.

Same happened to us, stupid rain.

We're missing one Tiagene van door motor, and one Master Link as well, and I think we're missing the Hall effect sensor also, but after reading this, I'll double check tomorrow that it isn't stuck on the accelerometer or something. I see the missing Taigene motor is missing from most kits, perhaps there'll be an quantity update soon, as that is a major item! Regarding the Master Link; perhaps that's why they had us get one with the Advance Materials List - I was wondering why we needed one Master Link for the field (and Lithium grease?).
