highest possible
Alright so from what I gather here are the 2 highest possible qualifiction scores-
Without Disqualification Team A - 4 robots in endzone: 40 pts - 2 goals in scoring position: 20 pts - 25 balls in scoring goals: 25 pts Sub-total:85 pts Team B - 4 robots in endzone: 40 pts - 1 goal in scoring position: 10 pts - 35 balls in scoring goal: 35 pts Sub-total:85 pts Final score Team A- 85 pts Team B- 255 pts (ball/first tyebreaker) With Disqualification Team A - 4 robots in endzone: 40 pts - 3 goals in scoring position: 30 pts - 60 balls in scoring goals: 60 pts Team B - Disqualified Final score: Team A- 390 pts Team B- 0 pts I believe there are a total of 60 balls in play (40 on field, and 10 in 2 human stations) correct me if I am wrong cause in previous replies the number of balls was posted as 50. |
At the Canadian Regional, Team 188 and Team 233 tied the current high of 156 QPs in a non-DQ match.
Three matches later, Team 296 and another team that I apologize for not remembering managed to get 165 pts!!! resulting from a DQ. Anthony. |
I think we (team 5) got 142(?) as our highest pt match!
|
At the UTC NE regional, team 157 had 4 matches with QP's of 130+ and finished with an average QP total of 114! From what I can see, that tops all 17 regionals!

we held the record
for about 20 minutes we were holding the record with 141 qps, along with team 48 we scored that suprising amount :)
a while later, we heard over tha pa that the record is shattered :P we were happy for the other team, must have taken alot to do that. Martin 907 |

1) Alliance with least amount of penalties or warnings 2) Alliance with most Balls 3) Alliance with most Goals 4) Alliance with most Robots 5) Alliance with most balls on opposite ends of field So: Team A has: 2 Robots in scoring position 20pts 1 Goal in scoring position 10pts 35 balls in scoring position 35pts Total 65pts Team B has: 2 Robots in scoring position 20pts 2 Goals in scoring position 10pts 15 Balls in scoring position 35pts Total 65pts Team A wins with 35 balls and a QP total of 195! Side note: Tie breaker #5 was used in New Haven! |
Yeah, but you forgot that it is possible for a robot to score in both end zones
Note: the 5th tiebreaker was used twice at WMR |
i don't know if any one had pointed this out yet but thier is only 60 balls, so how could each team have 35, hmmm? 20 on each side of the field and ten in each player station.
|
OOps
I gave both teams 35 balls, that was bad! Hmm... back to the drawing board! Good thing I'm not on the strategy team huh?
I'd have our human players take the balls from the extra goal that FIRST usually has sitting off to the side during the competition! |
