I must begin by confessing that hte first thing I did upon reading this thread was to go and put the rules on my iPod, but . . .

Does it strike any of you that maybe, just maybe, we need to get out a bit more often?

Hey!

Has anyone asked Apple yet if they would give every team an iPod ? ;-))
I think that would be a good idea.

Does anyone has the email from Steve Jobs?

Complete idiots guide to Getting rules on your iPod

ok so i guess i need to clarify some stuff up. First To convert a .pdf to a .txt first you need acrobat reader 6.0. After that it gets pretty simple. Go to File the scroll down to Save As Text Then click save. Thats easy right? Now click on My Computer and pull up your newly saved .txt file it generally should be in the same folder your pdf was unless you changed it. Now copy the .txt file. and go to my computer again and click on your ipod. You should see the Notes folder there, save it there. Keep in mind you can only save up to 4kbs of info so i reconmend this process posted earlier.

I have attached sections 4 and 5 converted into contacts. Simply copy the VCF files to the Contacts folder of your iPod.

So thats how you do it, once you have the linked files, you copy them into your ipod's contact folder. By clicking on my computer and then selecting your ipod, and then your contacts folder there.

It works on my iPod Photo, but I haven't tried it on an older model.

Hrm.. OK. Ill have to try reloading it to the iPod and restarting it then. Thanks!

Edit: Might be my iPod. I have a 4G 20GB and it won't work. Ill have to make my own, it seems. But the whole rules on the iPod thing is pure genius.

Coitanly. So you all know, I got the text from the contact versions posted by...
ahecht. So Kudos to him for making the files like this in the first place. If you need another manual, give a yell and maybe me more another person on the board can convert it for you.

I have a 4G 20 GB iPod as well, and the Robot Rules part isn't working, but the game works fine.
