SMC pneumatic manifolds

This question goes out to teams 60, 254, or any other team that has used/will use a pneumatic manifold. What is the SMC part number of the manifold that will work with the double solenoids/single solenoids that were given out this year? Is the right part number for the manifold: SS5Y3-20-xx where xx is the number of ports on the manifold. In the catalog for this part, it also lists that a blank plate assembly is needed? Is this to cover the unused ports on the manifold? What part number whould this have?

Thanks for the help!

Re: SMC pneumatic manifolds

ss5y3-41-xx-n7 (or n7t) is the part you need. We have been in contact with SMC, and it looks like the ONLY ones available in a 1/4" fitting size are the 9-port ones. Last I heard there were ~9 available in San Jose, CA.

n7 or N7t refers to the fitting size. It doesnt make alot of sense, but It means 1/4" tubing, and as such, the corresponding 1/8" NPT threads for 1/4" tubing on the pressure input and exhaust outputs

41 refers to base mounted, meaning the manifold itself has the quick disconnect fittings on it.

sy3000-26-9A is the blanking station kit used to seal off any unused ports. The things dont weigh very much, so having the 9-port and a few blanking stations is not all that much extra weight. Maybe a few ounces, max.

I would reccomend signing up for SMC's e-tech catalog. It shows you 3D images of the parts with exact part numbers etc, it is really cool.
