Trouble Finding Part!

We are looking for the Fafnir Ball Bearings.

I've looked through Innovation First, and all of the FIRST website, and i cant find a supplier for these ball bearings. If anyone knows where they can be found would you be so kind as to reply? I'm at wits end. Thanks alot

Nick

Do you need the same exact brand and everything? If so, have you tried www.froogle.com ? Also, if you can live with something the same size but from a different manufacturer, McMaster, MSC, SDP-SI, and Small Parts all sell bearings.

Fafnir and Torrington are all part of Timken Bearings - here is there website where you can search for a distributor by country and area code.

If you are looking for normal "standard" bearings, you don't have to just look for Fafnirs - any brand will do as many bearings are standardized. Look for the specific size you want as opposed to a specific brand.

Believe it or not, some hardware stores like Ace carry the basic standard sizes - look in the little drawers near the specialty nuts and bolts.

Motion Industries is a great source... there is likely a distributor of theirs near you if you are in a city. They usually have the normal sizes in stock.

Also, MSC is a source for bearings - mscdirect.com.

And don't forget Small Parts Inc - they have the basice standard sizes.
