wow that's amazing, why ruin it by smashing into another robot? save it for a art gallery and make a bad looking one to make other teams look normal. Good Luck!

When do we get to see what fits in that square center hole?

hmmm let me guess:

It looks like i see 3 wheels on the side being shown (without your waffle tread) and most likely a multimotor drive...possibly more than 4 (total)?

The middle wheels are probably lowered a fraction of an inch (seems to be a general trend now)

Oh and it looks really really really sweet.

Pretty sweet Tytus...
Water Jet or CNC?
And...what is the big slit and square hole for?
I would guess that it was run by treads if the middle wasn't out of alignment with the other two. I can't wait to see the full thing up and running.

boy howdy, that sure is purdy...

The hole on top is super duper secret (till week 5). The cover is 1/8 alum welded plate. Waterjet (thanks BTI). The front and back covers are hinged hoods. Under the front there is an isolated plugin electronics module. Around the perimeter and all through the base is a grid of 1/4" alum plate welded up, then laminated with 3/16 plate. It's extremely rigid. Also hidden in there are a brand new spiffy set of Andymarks. Around the lower perimeter will be covered in a very cool bumper sensor system. This little monster is going to see and touch!
But the best part is yet to come! :D

Where can I get one?

That is quite an amazing looking robot. I'd love to see the final product, with the arm (or whatever it will be) and all.

I assume you mean Andymark transmissions? Not wheels or planetaries?

lol hopefully you won't have to put any " speed holes " into it to reduce the weight :-)
would stink to ruin such a pretty water jet job/shell
