Glowstick swingers?
 

I was just wondering if there were any glowstick swingers going to either WMR or Nationals. If there are I would love to meet up with you guys. Its a great opportunity to learn from and help each other. I personally have been spinning for a year, in fact i started when somebody and GLR last year was doing it. I think it would be a great opportunity to introduce other people to spinning. thanks.

Like a professional Spinner or just someone who does it for fun?, cause I fall into the just for fun category along with a bunch of my team mates!

I did not eat it I bit into it to open it and put it in my hair. And yes they did change the formula it doesn't taste or smell as bad anymore

no, i wasnt talking about professional swingers, (that may be intrepreted wrong) I just do it for fun, but I have learned something new everytime I get together with spinners. Its great fun. I'll be watching out for your team at nationals for sure. As for the glow stick in your hair, what were you thinking?

It does work in your hair but more so on your hands, It fades away. The Glow Sticks are made in stick form for a reason, once you separate or dilute the liquid, they don't glow too bright.

NO PROBLEM! Break a stick, dump it on the ball,and you are good to go. When you get started, you will need more sticks because it gets on the recivers hands. That looks really cool too, 15 sets of hands glowing in the dark. :D

Hey, I'm glad some more people are goin' down to nationals and are planning on doing some dancing :) I'm very very brand new to glowstringing (like, never done it) and would LOVE to meet with some people who're good at it to try and teach me. I'll be the guy from team 116 going around asking for hugs

Ooo, good. I thought I had opened my mouth and said something stupid again. So does anyone know how to liquid pop? I can do a real little bit of liquid, but I can't get my legs in with it. Can anyone help me?

lol RAVERS OF THE WORLD UNITE! Liquid pop? Is that the same as just regular Liquid dancing? If it is, then I can do some, but like you, not really with the legs.

Haha... ^_^ It's liquid and popping mixed... I don't really know how to explain it, but it looks smooth as... hmm... if you have Kazaa or Morpheus look for liquid pop and download a video, any video, that has the name Eric in it. He's sooo good. If you still cant find something, just IM me or something, and I'll send you a file... but i'll have to download one myself first.

JillyJillBill, here's what you need to do, goHere you have about 2 weeks, learn all you can(its definately possible, i learned all the basic stuff and some intermedite stuff in the weeks between the last regional and finals) and come play with us at nationals!

As for liquid pop, sounds cool even though liquid isnt my style.

I was thinking of meeting up in the under the sea building during the Epcot Party. They have a pretty good techno party there, lots of room for a good circle, and not too many people know about it. which is nice. Also, where's everyone staying? btw Jill, you should check your priorites School ?!?! :)

What are you guys talking about?? The ones where you guys use strings on glowsticks or just free hand?? I have trailing, 8's and others.. but I just do it as freestyle dance..;) :) :rolleyes:

i was originally thinking glowsticks on strings (mainly because thats what i do) but liquids cool too. everyones invited

That's cool.. I use to do it a while back, but now it's just something I do when I feel bored.. anyways.. how much does glowsticks cost for you guys out there?? I get mine for a $1.00 It's pretty cheap here..
