There is a Wal-Mart near my parents' house in South Windsor, CT and it seems to coexist very happily with a Target, a Best Buy and a sizable mall. There seems to be more than enough business for all of them, so why can't other Wal-Marts handle competing with a few small businesses?

Well the reason that they feel the need to get rid of the small businesses is because even though all seperate they have only a few million income, together they are worth more than Walmart. So they want to make sure they get their business too, so they can be more than twice as powerful
