Semifinals- Boston New Your Islanders New Jersey Toronto Finals- New Jersey and Boston East Stanley cup Contender- New Jersey OK, now the West-- Quarterfinals- 1. Detroit 2. San Jose 3. Colorado 4. Chichago 5. Phoenix 6. St. Louis 7. Los Angeles 8. Dallas Semifinals- Detroit San Jose Colorado Chichago Finals- Detroit Colorado West Stanley Cup Contenders- Detroit Stanley Cup Finals- Detroit Vs. New Jersey (like in the old days!!) Detroit in 5 People are going to say i am very bold, even if they know a very little of what is going in in the NHL, but than agian, that is why i am not in any pools. This is my opnion (sp) and i don't mean to offend anyone, but i think this will be it! GO WINGS! Woo-hoo, hopefully i am correct and i will be hitting my self why didn't i enter the pool! |
FLYERS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Lets go Philly |
I want Boston to win, but that is just me.
Well, I'm from San Jose, so I think it'd kick %%% for them to win, but realistically, I think Detroit will come out on top...
Avalanche all the way!!!!
Detroit wont hold up, their defensemen are a bunch of old men. The Western Conference will be holding up the cup..thats for sure |
Chicago all the way! Haha, I know there's no way, but hope springs eternal....
boston
boston all the way baby
Detroit can hold the cup, and their people are not old, they are experienced! :p
I say it's going to be Detroit and Philly. It would be cool if it was Detroit and Toronto, but I don't Toronto will be able to pull it off. As for Colorado, they're going to go down in smoke. As Matt put it, just cause they're old doesn't mean they can't hold their own. In the playoffs, brute force won't always win.

You guys don't even know what you're talking about. It's all about Pittsburgh. You know, the Penguins. They're gonna come right out of nowhere.

To all tha' Avs Fans out there!! They will go down, and by the "old" hands o' the Wings! Avs have their heads up their butts too far to realise what is going on! :p <edit> I know i am mean, but i do have a bitter-hatred for the Avs!!!</edit> |
Detroit is gonna come out on top. Especially w/ Avery on the team. He's probably the best checker on the team. That and the Red Wings have the most people on a team that played in the Olympics and the teams they played on were the top 3 teams. That and not that long ago Detroit won 2 yrs in a row so..........I think Detroit has the best chance so far.
Avery?!?! He is only a small cog in the wings whole arsenal or shooters/checkers/defencemen. Look at Hull, Robitaille, Lidstrom, Yzerman, Hasek, Fedorov, Shanahan, etc... Plus, Avery is a rookie. He is learning from some of the best people in the nhl right now. The Wings do have the best chance, while others say they are just a fluke w/ all the people. I say not!! They will come out on top, but due to all the skill players that they have. Plus, Avery is not the best checker on the team, what about McCarty?!
Detroit is the 2001-2002 Duke of the NHL
Don't comment, just be ready to apologize to me after the playoffs are over. Anyway... With Mr Yzerman out till at least the end of the regular season due to injury, he won't be full strength if he can play in the playoff, Hassek has a history of choaking when the pressure was on, and well as Barry Melrose of ESPN stated : "Its not hard to beat Detroits Old Defensmen, dump the puck behind the net and chase it down, if they do keep up, it wont last long." |
