Yeah. 'tis only a simple script. Requires only ten seconds. PM me for details.

Note: When experimenting, make sure you are out of the current building.

Could you PM me the code for your wonderful nuclear suicide bot? That could come in handy as a last resort. :yikes:

Last thing heard. "If you cut the battery wires, disconnect the bat..." Would this be classified as a FUBAR :D

Also in defence of Larry the program is NEVER wrong :ahh:

Kind of reminds me when your friend says: "Hey guys, watch this!"

"Oh wait, was I supposed to press the button on the other joystick?!"

Fixen 04-02-2005 15:49

Re: Robot Test - Failure

Umm...yeah. The 92nd roller button, color code yellow-orange-green-green-blue-orange-purple, in section F of the upper joystick makes the robot self-destruct. All drivers know that.

I could only wish that whenever a problem happened, they'ed blame it on the programmers, but I always seem to be the one getting blamed. Whenever there is a loud crashing sound, they'd blame it on me, even if I'm not even there. :)

I'll have to try that. "Hey, everybody! Let me show you a neat trick!" :yikes:

Re: Robot Test - Failure

hee hee--so you guys really have the self destruct button on your controls... ;)
I've always wanted to do that :D

well..i'll have to tell everyone one to beware of you guys at competitions..keep up the good work..lets try not to destroy anything else this coming week

Re: Robot Test - Failure

Actually, that means our robot sucks. Because we thought we'd be so pissed at the competitions we would want to make it self-destruct, so we added the function. XD

And...yeah. Last year I was the chief scapegoat of the team. Robot didn't turn right? Blame it on me. (Because the friction from carpet and us using big wheels restricted in small frame space). Robot makes crazy noises when moving? Blame it on me. (Chains are touching bolts on the frame)

Come on...us programmers aren't all that mentally unstable...

Could you write a code that's something like this: robot.kill(slackers)
I'd love that. :D

Code:

function kill (object target){
static unsigned const COLOR = Green;  //you must enter the color of the target's shirt

driveTowardsTarget(COLOR);
impale();
}

function impale(){
pwm11 = 254;  //extend arm with highest speed
}

Re: Robot Test - Failure

Fixen, there is a reason you are always blamed for the problems.

1. You always cause the problems....
2. All Problems lead to the Programmer, no matter how you look at it b/c the builders work is always correct.
3. I hate you
4. The team leader hates you.
5. The team hates your "ability to program" last year, i wont go into specifics...
6. Need I go on?!?!?!?! ;)
