we use vinyls done by a local printer

one question the team number have to be 3 inch or 4 inch tall
this question has probably been ask before

Julie (and everyone else),
The robot graphics are articulated in section 5.3.2.3 under rule <R09> for "at least 4 inches high, contrasting color, etc...."

Also note in rule <R10>, the robot must have and utilize the team color LEDs on each side of the robot. These are mounted on your robot at the event registration.

whats a good contrasting color for extruded aluminum?

assuming your extruded aluminum is not painted and is the original color...basically any dark color would work. a good contrasting color in art terms is the color's opposite (i.e., blue/orange, yellow/violet) so for extruded aluminum i would say a black or dark blue.

we often go with orange on aluminum and it works beautifully.
