Friday the 13!!!

I wanted to beat everyone at saying that it is Friday the 13, eventhough I am posting this on the Thursday the 12...lol

Hmmm... 18 hour drive to northern MI on Friday the 13th.

~Tom~, who luckily doesn't believe in bad luck etc.

Kris Verdeyen 13-07-2001 14:36

Tom built a robot and doesn't believe in luck?

Anytime something I build works, I consider myself lucky. In fact, I always rub a piece of garlic on a penny and keep it in my shoe. (thanks to Scott Adams' The Dilbert Principle )

Superstitions are flaws of humans. The High Priest is glad he isn't human.

I didn't even realize it was Friday the 13th until I had to write down the date. And actually, I had a pretty good day, so much for superstitions.

April 13, (friday?), 13:00, Apollo 13 took off. I don't know if it was superstitions that caused the problem or not. Actually, my best friend had a black cat. The only bad Friday the 13th I had was the one I didn't see the cat. I'm still suporstitious though. It gives the world one more common bond to complain about.
C~ya, Carolyn who thinks everyone has to have something to complain about, be it valid or not.

EddieMcD 14-07-2001 18:03

Humans... are... strange...

-Ed "Yes, this is a post to boost his post count" McDonnell

Carolyn Duncan 15-07-2001 22:33

Really........

Every animal is, in some way, strange. Strange is not bad. I really think you should start a thread of random posts and useless info.

David...your wonderous team leader had a bad Friday the 13th...he left Courtland, NY...got about 1 1/2 hours away, then realized he accidentally took someone's keys that he was holding for them! So, he had to drive all the way back, then turn around and start back to Indiana again. THEN...there were no open hotels, so he made the drive straight threw....10 hours. He's tired!!

Well at least scott is getting better at remembering keys. he usually locks them in his truck or leaves them in the door lock of his office. But was he tired enough to see cows and farm animals?

EddieMcD 16-07-2001 16:00

Maybe The High Priest should start something totally useless on these boards.

I once got all the way to school, 30 minute drive, before I realized that I wasn't wearing any shoes. I had to go in and get permission to go home. The administrators weren't very happy about that, they wanted my mom to bring my shoes to the school.

The High Priest doesn't believe in luck. Sure, he has a good-luck necklace, but he knows it really doesn't affect anything. Well, unless it gives him telekinetic powers, and that hasn't happened yet. ;)

Carolyn Duncan 17-07-2001 14:10

That's something you have to develop on your own. Doesn't come from a necklace. Sorry

Carolyn
