microswitches and other sensor question
Does anyone know where the manuals are for hooking up various sensors to the digital (and analog) inputs. I was under the impression that it was just a matter of shorting the white and the red wire, but that aparantly was not the case. Right now I am absolutely clueless on how to hook up a sensor even as simple as a microswitch and I would really appreciate some help. Alongside of the microswitches, could anyone tell me how the rotory sensor works (well, how to hook it up and get it to count anyways) and how to hook up the CMU cam. thanks in advance.

Check here..
http://www.ifirobotics.com/docs/rc-r...01-31-2005.pdf Page 9 says to says to use the Signal pin (white) and the Ground pin (black) for hooking up a switch to the digital inputs. As for wiring analog sensors like potentiometers (rotary sensor?) refer to page 8 of the same manual. Good Luck |

Meanwhile, a switch is connected between the signal and ground connections on the digital I/O pins. Please search these fori for the words camera and encoder. There are numerous threads dedicated to these topics. |
