how do you mount the accelerometer?
 
i know this may sound a little stupid, but im a rookie roboteer, and i need to know how to mount the accelerometer, can someone please help me? :confused:

Assuming you are talking about the TI accelerometer in the kit, the data sheet shows the orientation. http://www2.usfirst.org/2005comp/Spe...elerometer.pdf

thanks alot, but this isnt what i really had in mind, i need a diagram to show me how to mount it on the robot, depending on the build of the robot. and is there a special way you have to mount it;?sideways, right side up?plz help, im confuzzled. :confused: :confused: :confused:

The document Joe Ross pointed you to does answer your question. If you want to measure forward (or lateral) acceleration, look at the diagram at the top right corner of the page. If you want to measure vertical acceleration (or gravity), look at the bottom left.
