Camera Question

When we were working with our camera, the on/off switch fell off. We thought that we had found all of the pieces, but on the actual switch that you toggle, the metal part had fallen off of the bottom. We looked around the floor, but we couldn't find that metal part. Obviously, we don't want to have to buy another camera, so does anyone have any suggestions? Thanks in advance.

Re: Camera Question

I would say that you would have to find the solder points for the switch then either solder a new switch to the points or wire up a new switch to the solder points, very simple actually, if your good at soldering that is.

I would contact IFI and tell them of your problem. You will find them most accommodating.

You can just solder a jumper across the pads and it should work. Only problem is the camera needs a hard reset everyonce in a while. You would only be able to that with a battery disconnect.
