pwms for relays

Hello Teams:

What pwms [number ports] are acceptable to use for the relays to the motors , pneumatics, etc.?

Thanks!

I'm not a programmer, but I'm pretty sure its safe to say you can use 1-7 (8 is dedicated to the pump, but I'm sure a better then novice programmer could change that). You'll just have to assign your operator control switches to the proper switch in programming

Re: pwms for relays

If you could clarify for what you want to use you want to use a pwm line for, it would be helpful, because as is, I think some posters might be confused as to what you're asking. On the RC, there is a bank of pwm pins and a bank or relay pins, so the two don't need to overlap. Hope this helps (see the below .pdf on the usfirst site and examine the RC)

PWM's are to send signals to and for the motor speed controllers (vicotrs).
There is a bank if pins for Relays Input/Ouput. 1-8 that you use for the relays which send forward or reverse at full power to a Motor or a Pump.

Hope this helps.
