to clear up confusion...

it's stay-sha, like the second half of anastasia, but instead of a z sound its an sh

it's on my backpack, which is why he asked. we've been going out for over 6 months now...

From that Donna's song...

OK, I would never use this -- but my friend said it would work for a p.u.L.

"I'm on my second drink,
but I've had a few before.
I'm trying hard to think,
and i think i want you on the floor."
~'Take it off' by the donnas

I like the song, and though it might be tempting to use, there could be reparations...

so guys, if you never heard this song before (some of you might not have) and some girl said this to you... lats say in COLLEGE
what would ur responce be?

rwaliany 18-01-2003 20:58

I would probably mumble out something like, "Umm... Ok," or maybe even go into shock seeing as it would only be the 2nd time a girl asked me to dance, and the first time was when I had stiches in my leg and I had to pass.....

Stupid long-time healing process on the human body!!!

yes, yes, that one is a good one

purpledaisy 19-01-2003 23:13

well, i'm a bit of a prude in some ways, but i think that i can speak for most girls that obscene comments are not good pick up lines. anything cute and somewhat flattering probably is.

That's a very cool song.

I enjoy that entire cd, actually.

This guy went around taking picture of girls and claims to be "looking at the robots"...what a liar ;)

Girl point of view

I would seriously have to agree with purple daisy on what she had said about the whole flattery deal. I play hockey (roller) with about 25 other guys on Sunday nights. They have come up with some pretty good things to yell across the rink at me, everything from ...... I'll help you with your slap shot tonight..... to falling down in front of me and making me fall on top of them (my vertical leap isn't that high.....I've tried!!) I seriously don't think that it attracts me to that person as much as it is revolting. Saying my eyes are pretty or giving words of encouragement are great and I smile about those, not the you have a nice rack comments. I guess it might help to tell you that I'm a senior in high school and all these guys I play with are 20 and up. They are only thinking about one thing and most robotics guys have their heads outta the gutter and think logical. I just wanted to add my two cents to purple daisy's post, so maybe you guys would take a hint in coming up with your pick up lines!!

At South Fork, the first two years are the Pre-IB program...this is to eliminate the people who won't do it (they chose not to) and tries to remove those/discourage those who won't make it.
