I need more ap classes, Im bored... They wouldn't let me in any more AP due to my bad performance frosh/soph year. Come on, I only have 3 AP + 2 College + H Physics.

Counting only my AP class cumulative gpa, I think it's around 4.83333.

Counting my standard classes it's about 3.0, or less.

I do a lot better in AP classes for some reason.

Shelley_delphi chick 22-01-2003 14:14

dude.....

You seriously need to work on those non AP classes. It seems like you sleep through them? I mean I've taken regular government and i decided to take regular english this year to lighten the course load. I've taken all AP courses my whole life and so on, but I took the non AP just so I could get the A and not have to work as hard for it. In our school AP classes aren't weighted and IB classes are, so why bust my rear for a B when I can sleep through the class and get an A!! Just my logic though......

P.S ...... I thought that this was a pick up line thread......

I just heard a funny one........ Some guy Imed me and I go do I know you and he was like I was trying to work on that?!?

it;s kinda lame, but hey it was original!!

All a guy really needs to do (girls too), is find an excuse to start a conversation with a girl they like. Get talking, and keep talking, and maybe if you're lucky the girl will also find an excuse to talk to you.

MRL180YTL2002 22-01-2003 20:43

That works.....always...the excuse part...not exactly. All you need to do is start a conversation and have more of them....for some of them...no excuses are needed just say you need to talk to someone....no questions asked....you don't need to say who. people eventually catch on though. Phone call, e-mails, and letters work too..... ;) I know....but Pamela and I aren't dating as of now...or maybe we never will....but hey we're friend for life.

Shelley_delphi chick 22-01-2003 20:44

He's Right

After careful consideration, I decided to take a PM alittle farther and I'm him. His PM gave me a reason to IM him and he found some kinda crazy subject to PM me about. We're both shy people and it's working for us!! I've been enjoying our conversations!! :yikes:

There's something in 10 Things I Hate About You ... using french as an excuse to go out and eat. ;) I love that movie ... haven't seen it in ages, though. :(

Yeah, its a very good movie. The best is when he hires the marching band, sings across the stadium "I love you baby...." (some of the lyrics), gets detention, and one of the soccer girls (I think it was his girlfriend) flashes the teacher while he sneaks out the window.

Specialagentjim 22-01-2003 22:58

I've never used a pickup line...I tend to loose control of my brain and suddenly it's like ".... uuhhhh..hi.... ::she's gone now:: Wow...I had a whole thing planned out in my head...."

Anyone guessed it yet? Yup, I've never had a g/f, lol

But anyways, there was a list of pickup lines that were totally obscene that I would NEVER think about using, but just pretty funny to picture someone's reaction to them...something about an iceberg and nice shoes...if you've seen the list, you know what im talkin about...Its really NOT right...

Ah Shakespeare
his tragedies are as good as his comedies.. even modernized

purpledaisy 23-01-2003 21:05

it's funny about the french... i actually take french class, i have since 7th grade (i'm in 12th now, you can do the math). I'm one of the more proficient speakers in my class, so people are always asking me to check their french for them. i never noticed how wrong that could sound until my boyfriend asked me to help him study his french for his final. he told his grandmother that's what we were doing, and she asked him what kind. innocent little me took a few minutes to understand what she meant...

Raven_Writer 23-01-2003 21:19

I hate french..but my school only teaches that. I wanna learn Chinese, or Japanese.

You can't say Chinese...what dialect?

I know Cantonese and Twaisanese (not to sure about it being spelled in English, forgot the little Maderin I know). The worst is when you mix up the dialects...I get my point across to who I'm talking to but I'm not fluent nor am I literate in any of these dialects.

I've learned 5 languages because the dialect themselves are languages all to themselves.

1) Catonese
2) Twaisanese
3) English
4) Mandarin (like I said don't remember it)
5) Spanish for IB tests

(1 and 2 are interchangable because I learned them both at the same time, none of my grandparents but one speaks English and you can forget my great-grandparents too).
