my team, 3204, is an all girls rookie team from ny. so eventually that got around, and some guys came up to me and my friends and asked if we were lesbians. we aren't so we said no. then they asked if we would prove it to them. i walked away laughing.

I'm in the British team (no further explanation needed xP), and some kid from 1230 tried to get me to believe that Americans had a tradition where all foreigners had to wear *just* fishnet stockings on a Sunday. Weak...

You then proceed to list out the digits of pi, and bingo! This only gets awkward when the girl knows more digits of pi than you do...

Last year some unknown member from fembots(all girls school) left a note in our pit with their number on it for our driver after we won the sac regional, we pushed him to call it but he's an extremely modest and quiet guy. Either way it was pretty funny. :rolleyes:

This. I can't speak for the rest of my team, but shame is not in my vocabulary. Especially with robotics.

We don't necessarily get use pickup lines much...but...It seems that every few years someone on my team refuses to go to prom. Two years ago it was a student who was too shy to actually ask anyone to go, so the rest of the team arranged it for him, and as we are an all boys school, they managed to get the girl to ask him to go. He (the guy) wanted to go, but couldn't muster the courage to make it happen.

This year, I am the prom defector. I have given my teammates the opportunity to get me to go, however. All they need to do is find a girl who will 3D print her prom dress and I will go. No questions asked.

Today at competition, we were collecting buttons. So this guy in the pits took out buttons back and wrote his number on the back. We're calling it tonight ;)
