Today at competition, we were collecting buttons. So this guy in the pits took out buttons back and wrote his number on the back. We're calling it tonight ;)

Haha some of these pickup lines are great!! I'm actually rather disappointed at the lack of hilarious pickup lines at MAR competitions. I think the best I have ever heard was a boy coming up to a girl, calling her pretty, and offering to massage her hair :confused:

Yesterday, I was spectating (that's code for engaging in industrial espionage) when I noticed a girl wearing zip ties as hoops attached to her earrings. Didn't actually use a pickup line on her, just told her that she wins everything for being the first person in real life I've seen wearing zip ties for fashion, and compared her to a mythical being.

No pepper spray was used, so I would consider that a successful day.

saw a meme just now, where it said Normal people flirting = "Hey babe, how are you?" me flirting = "if you were a potato... you'd be a good potato....." it made me laugh so hard because its so true lol

I know that I had a giant friendcrush on "Mr. Mustache" from team 118/148 at SVR, but I was too nervous to go up to him and say "I like your mustache." (Pretty sure he's a mentor too js)

Our safety captain has quite a few stalkers and some very interesting stories.

Mustache Man of 118? Yup, mentor. Our drive team admired his facial hair and told him so more than once when they were at Bayou. He chuckled when I told him that 'You have an amazing mustache that our entire team is admiring. Our human player says it makes him proud to be an American' but in general I'm pretty sure he was okay with us telling him so. I'm also going to assume he was okay with us greeting him as "Hello Mustache Man!" a few times, cause he just smiled.

Oh so I was at the FRC Orlando regional (I'm my FRC teams safety captain:4013) so since our theme is steam punk I'm in this really hot black dress and so a guy is like wow! You're hot , oh and temperature wise too! And I was like wow. Who knew?

At our Colorado Social this guy was walking past me and let out a scream of pain and grabbed his eyes. I turned around with a look of concern on my face and he goes "oh sorry, your beauty just blinded me!" Call me crazy but I died a little inside, I thought it was so cute :) I don't even know the kids name or team. Heck I dont even remember what he looked like but that was so cute!

I totally agree. our team all admired him from a distance at Bayou in shock of his heavenly mustachetude. I just want to put it out there that he has ruined all other mustaches for me... they all pale in comparison to the glory of his.

Ladies and gentleman I think I can top all of your claims. My team mate has driven around his FTC robot and made a special made attachment so he drive up to the girl and tap her shoe with an arm then the robot hands her a piece of paper saying she is Beautiful and asks for her number. IT works 99% percent of the time.
But I prefer a more magical approach. I do magic a magic trick that involves me guessing their number using their calculator. (no reversing math is involved.) lets just say by the end of the trick Im calling them on their phone number they never told me saying they should totally take a picture with me and become my BFF.

I don't use pick up lines, but in the Champioship I had a big black sexy fake mustache.
Aparently girls fall for that, since I had quite fun in the Champ ;)
