Tristan Lall is the most eloquent poster on CD. The archetypical manifestation of all things admirable in writing: terse prose, appropriate diction that dodges the clutches sesquipidalean obfuscation and, wonder of wonders, well structured thoughts. Ah, who says the American educational system is broken. Doesn't hurt that he agrees with me.
UPDATE: Huh? He's Canadian? We're doomed. ;) ;) |
Re: How to not get sick
I've seen a lot of ways to deal with an illness, but not much on prevention.
Tip #1 Wash your hands. Often. Often. Often. The waterless hand sanitizers work very well. Get a small bottle of Purell and keep it in your pocket. Tip #2 Don't sneeze into your your hand. Use your elbow. This removes a link in the common transmission chain. Tip #3 Keep your hands out of your face. Most cold type illnesses are introduced via the nose or mouth. The easy part of prevention is preventing transmission and exposure. The influenza virus can survive on a hard surface for more than a day. Some things can survive even longer but that illistrates why frequent hand cleaning is important. Good luck and good health Wetzel |

You are correct, I don't have any scientific anything to back anything I said up. Oprah isn't a doctor. But it worked for me, that's all I'm saying. **Disclaimer** Don't take airborne. ;) |
