Yes, the robot has six pneumatic wheels with tank drive.

Judging from the large sprocket on the bottom of the telescoping arm (which is awesome btw) it looks like it can bend about 180 degrees to pick up the tetra.

PhatMike, you are correct. We have a very similar design to our robot last year. Roccobot 2k4

Looking at your (gorgeous) robot sitting there (at NASA, right?), I think I see the inspiration for it: a launching pad. Or maybe a space vehicle. In any case it sure looks ready to launch!

Great job Pink! I can't wait to see it in Atlanta!

(Oh, and you can keep the teasers coming, if you want. I don't think I'll get tired of looking at the details for a very looonnnggg time.)

Another good looking robot. Can't wait to see you guys again at Fla. It was fun hanging out with you guys last year. Almost as fun as playing matches with you. Good luck this year pink!

No no no.
It is a huge antenna to attract any martians that might be looking for the pinkness their planet is so devoid of.
It looks so much like an antenna. Like it's sitting there and conversing subliminally with the Space station. And planning to take over the universe.

Yep, sunshine is good. We're glad we had lots of it and not much rain in Jan.-Feb. since our area for practice driving is outside.

Uh-oh. If that's the case we're in big trouble. How will we be able to tell if the robot is running autonomously, or under extraterrestrial control? I very much doubt that FIRST has taken this into consideration - in fact I'm sure I didn't see anything in the rules about non-earthbound operation of the robot in either autonomous or driver modes.

What a nice-looking bot!

Pink 233 once again combines aesthetics and function.

Great job!

I can't wait to see you guys at Nat's, Good Luck!

WoW this picture should make people loose sleep, they have to find a way on how to defend this thing. Pink always has a great robot and drive team, i know from experience having them at my regional every year :) . Well this year i get to sit back as a volunteer and get to just watch the robot and not have to worry about it. THINK PINK WILL NOT CAUSE ANY MORE GREY HAIRS!

Wow, great looking robot, sure going to be a good robot at nats, etc. The NASA engineers really outdid themselves this year.
