jvn.php Beautification?

Alright, so I'm sure by now that everyone's at least heard of the JVNs page (http://www.chiefdelphi.com/forums/jvn.php) on CD.

But this begs the question--is there a way to slap a coat of paint on that thing, make it look like the rest of the forums?

After all, it's one of those things that's kinda embedded with the site--so it would make sense to embed it with the site. :)

(can you tell I just re-read that whole thread?)

OR... we could get rid of it entirely?

Since JVN was clever this year and changed his birthday in the CD system, we didn't get to have any more fun.

So I vote yes on the beautification stage.

This is off-topic, but this thread is sort of chit-chatty anyway.

That's not at all the correct usage of "begging the question". Here is how it ought to be used:

http://skepdic.com/begging.html

For some reason, it has become a fad to replace "raises the question" with "begs the question". I dunno... I guess people think it sounds better.

Anyway, carry on. </threadjack>

Yes... my birthday went happily ignored this year. :)
Out to dinner with my roommates, phonecalls from girlfriend & family. Gift from little brother. Plenty of quiet time to finish the dang robot.

A good birthday. :-)

Hmm. I can write a 1-line script that makes sure his birthday is right, and have that run every day. ;) Hmmmm.
