Re: pic: Not done
Hmm I hope this is a joke..
I see drill motors, a 2004 RC, and old breaker panel! |
Re: pic: Not done
Looks like the chassis of a race car, to me. Only problem is, with that gearing, the wheels would have to be pretty large (and then it would look ugly cause it wouldnt be hugging the ground) for it to do much "racing".

Re: pic: Not done
Are you kidding me?! We can't use old parts this year???? Uh oh....we're in big trouble, come the AZ regionals....

Re: pic: Not done
I call shenanigans--not only with the 2004 RC (which in and of itself isn't reasons for shenanigans, but it adds to the others), but with the aforementioned old breaker/drill motor setup and the fact that the pictured OI is a PBASIC-era OI.

Are you guys kidding me?
Guys, that looks real hot, I'm truly impressed. We understand that this isn't your bot, but it does look real nice. Say, replace those drill motors with some good ol CIM's, and now we're talking. It wouldn't be difficult, and that thing would run 21 times as fast (if my memory serves me right). I really want to see a video when you guys finish that thing. BTW will we see this at any FIRST competitions driving around the pits? Good luck at competitions. |
Re: pic: Not done
All of those parts (the PBASIC control system, the drill motors, that fuse panel) and then combined with the sterelite totes it is resting on are making me really nostalgic for Stack Attack :)

Re: pic: Not done
Sorry Dan-O...this was scrapped from last year...it will never see action again...nor will it see the pits...

Re: pic: Not done
That's not the pbasic controller, it's the 2004 C- based controller....just look at the sensor inputs. They were db25 on the old pbasic controllers.
