How is this any different/better than the average small form factor PC? It's definetly not a new concept for "Intel".

Should I congratulate you on your great gramme, or should I just point out that this is a concept model, or should I still point out that it's ugly as sin?

How nice of you stating how good my grammar was and i appreciate your kindness.

Duh! i know that. I didn't need you to tell me that it was a concept model.

Yes, I noticed your kind and loving ways as well. :)
I'd have to say that I think it looks pretty awesome, I mean, a silver box, woo-wee, blows my mind.

If you can congratulate him for his great grammar, the least that I can do is congratulate you for your spelling prowess. :p

As for its ugliness, I think it needs more beige. :yikes: I wonder how well it would perform in a high-density clustering environment (that is, if it will overheat when surrounded by dozens of its kind, all running in parallel).

A fool and his money are soon parted. You don't even know what the release specifications will be, and you're already trumpeting it from the rooftops? By the way, don't use large type, ever. Especially if it's to say something obvious like "*MINI PC*".

Obviouly it's gonna over heat if you put dozens of its kind in a high-density clustering environment.
Maybe i am wrong it won't overheat.

People would want to do that in rendering farms and such.

can we get some specs on this thing please!??!

Re: Intel's Own Mini Pc!! it's awesome!

Actually, as was said earlier, this is a concept PC. Because of that I don't believe that there are any specs. Infact,it seems that Intel wont' even produce such a design. This particular design was only an answer to Apple's.

You can read more about it at http://news.com.com/Intel+shows+off+...29.html?tag=nl

Well I'm going to have to say I still like AMD more. Knowing the amount of heat produced by prescott processors, I'd say this beast either
A) overheats a ton
B) is severely underpowered (yes I know it's not designed for speed, but you gotta have at least 1 ghz)

Athlon 64 0wn5 j00.

Personally, I'd just go with a laptop. They're more well known to be able to be portable...and plus I think it's harder to pass a MiniPC as a carry-on on those 16-hour FIRST plane flights.

Please note that I've always considered a laptop to be a mini-pc...so...yea...
