Granite State Regional Questions

I went to Manchester to scout and get a feel for the game. I had gone to Battlecry, but this was my first official FITST match. IT was exciting. As you can tell I am from a Rookie team, Team 1568. I had a question for the teams that were competing at the Granite State Regional. I saw that teams were either intentionally or unintentionally decapping the goals, however nothing was done, was the goal given to the opposing alliance? And what happens if a red robot pushes a blue robot into the goal and the goal is uncapped?

Re: Granite State Regional Questions

I know that for one of our matches we dropped a red Tetra onto a blue Tetra in a weird way that pulled both off (we didn't descore it directly, the red Tetra did). (video) The blue team was awarded ownership of that goal.

Quote:

Revised <G18> from Team Update #03 of 1/18/2005
<G18> ROBOTS can remove or displace TETRAS CONTAINED in a goal, but cannot remove the
opposing alliance’s STACKED TETRAS. If an alliance ROBOT removes any STACKED TETRA
of the opposing alliance, the TETRA will be SCORED (3 points) and the opposing alliance
automatically OWNS the GOAL for the remainder of the match regardless of what color TETRAS
are on the goal. There is no penalty for removing a TETRA that is precariously positioned on a
GOAL or TETRA, but not fully STACKED.
Courtest of the Manual, SEction 4.
