um I'm a freshman? I'm new to mostly everything, came straight from a private catholic school to a public school, UDHS, coming to that school was that first time i heard about FIRST and robotics and such. i feel in love with it when my friend's told me, my friend Dan actually forced me to join since i tried to make him try out for the play. I fell in love with everything, and it became my second family. thats about it lol. where are you guys from? :D

Hi, I'm Kathie, fourth year on RAGE as a NEM (Non-Engineering Mentor); adult mentor for the Chairman's Award committee; help with just about everything else non-technical. Co-founder NEMO.

Married almost 27 years to the big guy with the long hair and the funny hat, Jack; official mom of Jon (drive team coach) and Kori (college mentor on team); unofficial mom of a lot of people... Worked in library system for 25 years, now working as a college web site coordinator.

I love the color red; love the Internet; love to read; am continually inspired by the RAGE students I work with; and need more sleep.

This is my last year on team (and I'll miss it!). Hope to meet some of you next week in Chesapeake, and then in Atlanta. (I'm helping with three workshops at the Conference - check out the schedule!).

I'm Joshua May, a senior on team 1110 in Palmdale, CA. (If you've ever heard the Afroman song, its the same place, and the song doesn't lie) Third year in FIRST and I'm my team's President/Programmer/Animator/Webmaster/Mechanical/Electrical/everything guy. Outside of FIRST, I'm a "normal" guy, and I'm an IB student, too.

Hi. My name is Daniel. I am on team 294 (Beach Cities Robotics) which is often confused with the team next door (about a mile up the street) Team 330, the Beach Bots. I am team captain (although I don't like it to much; I tried to resign) and the Inventor guy. I am really shy, so I'm not very social at the competitions.

At school, I am a math/science/robotics/band/boy scout geek. I am an Eagle Scout (I am extremely proud of that). I play the Baritone Horn in the band, and I'm the first chair. I am in 3 AP classes, including Calc AB and Chemistry. I often overstrain myself, and I have had major stress/health issues because of that. But hey, if overstraining myself means being in FIRST, I'm all for it.

Edit: adding hobbies

I have many hobbies outside of robotics (imagine that!). I collect coins, mostly foreign (I have something like 300 from 5 continents and around 30 countries, not using a Euro). I also am an avid hearts player (among people who have mostly been playing hearts longer than I have been alive, I win 46% of the time).

Hi!

My name is Shu Song, from Ithaca, NY. I do electronics for my team and am currently working on a database program for the scouting team. I hope to perfect my program enough to distribute it, however long that might take:).

I'm a senior at Ithaca High School and will be attending Cornell University next year to study EE or CS (help me choose plz!!). :ahh:

Anyway, it was nice seeing your team at FLR, though I didn't get to meet you or anyone else, for that matter, because I was too busy.
