How do you get ready for Regionals?
 

I was wondering how other FIRSTers get ready for their regionals? Do you have any "traditions"?

we plan on going to an arcade the night before so we can get our driver and arm operator ready. there used to be a place in NYC that would give out free tokens for A's on your report card, I'm not sure if they still do(i need to check) but thats one of the places we might go.

We didn't do anything exciting/special excpet me, the other driver, and another team member worked on our robot cart to 11:30 pm..then left for the regional at 6:30 am the next day. :D

well for our regional this year, we drove for 11ish hours the day before and reached in time for dinner so we all ate dinner together and in the morning, we get together and paint our faces

We have Spirit Saturdays where we prepare spirit items to take to the regional but since FLR happend in week 1 Spirit Saturday is being used to prepare spirit items for the championship instead.

No traditions for out team, really. We just prepare the checklists that the drivers are supposed to use before going out on the field, inventory everything and. pack what we need, do the bill of material lists, and other things of that nature.

Our team doesn't have traditions, but the week before a regional consists of button making and uh more button making.

we dont do any traditions. our tradition is gettin ready and practice driving etc. working on our prototype.

We don't really do anything at all..... I'll have to start one.

And now I'm sad. I didn't get 1006's button in pittsburgh last weekend.

We don't really have one, but since we go to VCU (week 1 regional) we're pretty much still sleeping off the build season by the time we go to our regional.

Well I dunno about my team but I stay up late (untill its time to go to the school to get picked up) um.......I watch videos on the way down........At the Comp I go running around the pits just looking around.....and listen to sandstorm 222 times. :D
