Re: Team 103 FIRST Inventor Submission
Very nice modeling. I've been debating fighting with realis chain, so I'll ask: Is your chain real chain or a band made to look like chian?

Re: Team 103 FIRST Inventor Submission
Hi
Thats not bad at all. Although i was wondering whether youre wires really were that straight on the robot. Also how did you get them straight but with bends in, when i tried to do this it just went all bendy. oljomo |
Re: Team 103 FIRST Inventor Submission
ok the chain is real, wires are made via 3d sketch which is the only way to make them like that (good for wire layout although almost impossible to make the wire really like that)

Re: Team 103 FIRST Inventor Submission
how do you constraint the chain for it to run through the sprockets?
i only used motion constraints on the sprockets for them to spin based on the number of theth, but i can't figure a way to make the chain work in that |
Re: Team 103 FIRST Inventor Submission
Awesome Entry Guys....
Your organization and presentation of all your modeling stuff blows be away every year. I've been trying to get students interested in doing this type of documetation for a few years now, but I can never seem to get enough students involved. Any suggestions? Again, great job. :) |
