Very nice modeling. I've been debating fighting with realis chain, so I'll ask: Is your chain real chain or a band made to look like chian?

Hi

Thats not bad at all. Although i was wondering whether youre wires really were that straight on the robot. Also how did you get them straight but with bends in, when i tried to do this it just went all bendy.

ok the chain is real, wires are made via 3d sketch which is the only way to make them like that (good for wire layout although almost impossible to make the wire really like that)

how do you constraint the chain for it to run through the sprockets?
i only used motion constraints on the sprockets for them to spin based on the number of theth, but i can't figure a way to make the chain work in that

Awesome Entry Guys....

Your organization and presentation of all your modeling stuff blows be away every year. I've been trying to get students interested in doing this type of documetation for a few years now, but I can never seem to get enough students involved. Any suggestions?

Again, great job. :)

Our teams makes the inventor group a seperate subdepartment of the manufacturing. We work primarily on inventor the entire year and we only influence the robot via inventor (aka testing ideas). Plus we have a lot of fun in our little computer room by ourselves!! :D
