*a big my bad on that deleted post, didn't mean to do that.

I don't know how official* of a run it was, but the Lamborghini Murcielago ran faster than the F1. Though I still like the F1 much better.

*An official speed test usually requires certain conditions and depending on the type of test, often requires the car to be driven in both directions on the track. This is to account for slopes and wind (and possibly many other varables).

Another '90 Miata, and the time and money to make it my dream club racer. I love the old Miatas. No A/C, no power windows, no power steering, no power anything. Just the lightest, cheapest, best handling little sports car you could get for less then 15 grand. Sure, there are faster cars out there, but none with the class and spunk of a Miata. It's the best selling sports car in history for a reason.

Besides, girls just love flip-up headlights.

I would want a brand new Mini Cooper in green or a 1978 AMC Gremlin in orange.

They were also saying the Bugatti Veyron is faster, I don't know if they've made a working car tho, or at least one that beats the F1. I REALLY don't like that car though, it doens't look cool, and its way too heavy.

Re: What's your dream car?

A light, striped down version of the Veyron could, on paper, be faster then an F1. However, the Veyron will be far too heavy in production form to really have 'super car' performance. It will also cost significantly more then an F1 ever could.

Thats not to say it's a slouch- it still has 1000 ponies, give or take, but it's just to heavy. But then, it was never meant to be faster then an F1. Just much much more expensive, any maybe just a little safer. People who can buy a Veyron don't really care how fast it is, just how fast it looks/sounds/costs.

The Veyron really isn't too heavy and is VERY quick, but not as quick as an F1. However, the Veyron will not cost nearly as much as the F1. A new F1 cost over $1 million (when you could still get them). The Veyron will not break into a 7 digit cost. Time to go work on my $600 car seen here with a $500 chopper on it's roof.

Right now, the fastest production car as certified by the guiness book of world record is the Koenigsegg CCR. It beat the F1 by like 1 mph or something like that. For those of you who haven't heard of Konigsegg, it's a relativly new supercar company from the land of Volvos. That's right, it comes from Sweden

Other than that, I'll love to have a BMW M5.

I love the classics, so for me, I would want either a 1955 Ford T-bird in Sea Green with a white convertible top and white interior (along with the big dice on the rear-view mirror) or a 1964 Chevy Nova II in Electric Blue, also with white convertible top and interior.
The latter I almost go my hands on twice. The first time, there was one being sold a few blocks from my house. It was waiting there for years to get sold and I figured that when I finally got my license, I would go and buy it. But lo and behold, the year I got my license, someone up and got it before I got to it. *sniffle* and the second time, a friend offered me his Nova with brand new equipment under the hood and a brand new paint job for only 6 grand...but it was in Oklahoma and I couldn't fly out to get it. one of these days, I'll get my hands on one....
