predicement

well i currently have purple hair..(i dyed it for the philadedlphia alliance regional)..and i want to re-dye it for nationals but i have senior portraits like 2 weeks after i get back...(it takes like 6 weeks to come out)....who thinks i should re-dye it and then get a dye that matches my original color..?

Peace...Joe

bleach it out...

I believe that purple is one of the colors that (if you're using semi-perminent dye) can be bleached out. So i'd suggest dying your hair purple again, killing it once more by bleaching out the purple, then going for a natural dye- in general, black is the easiest color to achieve on bleached hair. light browns and such can be a little tricky, unless you like the brown/green look...

yeah its semi permanant....and i think itll be ok...u hope so

*crossing fingers for my lifes sake*

my mom is going to kill me if i have purple hair for my senior portratits but hey...theres only one FIRST National Cahmpionship Right?

hey , i remember you from philly, the purple hair looks cool!! YOu should redye it and keep it for senior pictures, everyone will know you at your school!!

purplehaze357 12-04-2002 11:15

haha...oOo i have no problem with my hair being purple for my senior portraits but for some odd reason my mom does...who would have thought...but i think i am going to re-dye...despite the fact that my mom and dad dont want me too...i kinda like it purple..

just make sure you save a sample of your original colord hair to match the new dye to...

purplehaze357 14-04-2002 12:29

the only problem with that is the fact that my hair isnt back to its normal color yet...i dyed it for the Philadelphia regional and it has yet to recover...so ii think ima have to wing it...and hope i get something close to my color...

Trust me, you can find something close to your original color.
I use the Nutrisse Gardiner(sp?) for naturalish colors. It comes in a green box.

SMJ
Why don't you spend less time worrying about your hair and more time separating out the photos and video for the web site.
