The times listed there are probably the normal park hours while the ones on disney.com are updated specifically for this month. Also, one of the parents on our team suggested they might be closing earlier in the day because of mosquitoes.

Well, maybe. They call Disney Reservations on a daily basis to find out what the park hours are, and then update their information to reflect that.

But, there's a discrepancy between their hours and the official Disney site's hours. Actually, I'd be more inclined to believe the unofficial source, as Disney has been lousy in updating its website in the past.

At any rate, I forgot to call today :) Tomorrow it is.

Serious, you only have to be 21 to get someone else in??? Alright...who here is over 21?

You have to be over 21 and a parent or legal guardian. Just any old 21 year old won't do it. Sorry :(

Admission is $20, but college students with a college ID get half-off, usually.

Alrighty then, well for those of us who aren't in college. Beach Bot is planning a tentative game of late night mini golf for Friday after comp. Not quite the same as *pleasure island*, but it should be fun if anyone wants to join us. There's a place at Disneyworld called Disney's Winter Summerland that looks fun...anyone know anything about it? I found this description of it: http://orlando.citysearch.com/profile/2403806/
It closes at 11, so i thought maybe after comp. if people want to eat dinner or go back to the hotels maybe we could go golf about 9 or so. Anyone interested?

WinterSummerland is two miniature golf courses located adjacent to Disney's Blizzard Beach. Both are traditional miniature golf courses, as opposed to Fantasia Gardens, which has one whimsical course and one hard-core miniature golf course.

I haven't played at either, but they certainly look interesting :)

To get to 'em, you'd have to take a bus to Blizzard Beach, which sometimes shares a bus with Animal Kingdom. I'm not sure how they'll run once those parks have closed, though.

What day?

I do not know if anyone mentioned this, but....

Animal Kingdom always closes at Sundown due to the need for the Animals and other items that the park needs.

As for each park there are different items.

Remember that Epcot closes early Saturday for US (reopens 7pm Team Party).

Additionally, what they do not official say, but being a frequent Disney goer person. They have been closing early since Sept. 11 and have no plans of returning to normal operation until the summer months.

Hope this helps some.

I know I will be at Dinsey Quest one night...

More specifically, only the east side of Future World will be closing. World Showcase will remain open until 9 pm, and Future World west may stay open that late as well. I will call to confirm park hours soon. I promise.

Well, the posted closing times for the Magic Kingdom are much, much earlier in the day than they have been, traditionally. Otherwise, attendance is back to normal levels, pretty much, if not higher because of the increased amount of discounts and such.
