New info on Battlebots

I dont know how may other FIRST-ers caught it & assumed....but when one of the announcers ended his segway about his alma mater's BB team, he mentioned about how they were beaten by a HS team...I dont know bout you, but I thought it was a FIRST-er right away.

I found out from another future Babson-ite that the team was a Texas BEST team from Woodlands, Tx outfitted for BB and sponsored by Tico Titanium of Spring & Houston, Tx.

So, still no word on how our dual-comp or crossover teams fared....

it's always cool to see the kids beat the adults. i'll always root for any FIRST team that goes up against andy BattleBot team. It's only natural.

I posted this before but...

I guess no one knew. Does anyone know about the BB Ogre? There is someone signed up on the forums with that name and I was wondering if there was a link. On T.V. Ogre's driver appeared very young, High school/college age.

Again, The High Priest missed it. Guess he'll have to catch it Saturday.

"Ogre" is the nickname of the arm driver on our team. Maybe he did drive, and maybe not.

No i didn't drive the BB. I wish i did though.

Ok. that unconfuses me then. It seemed a bit of a coincidence but it was just a fluke (I don't mean the fin).
