fed-ex shipping question

Hey. I'm from rookie team 1560 (Pinewood School) and we'll be participating in Silicon Valley this thursay-saturday. I typed in the fedex tracking number in their website, and it says that our robot was picked up on the 22nd and delivered on the 23rd to San Francisco to be stored. Was our robot already supposed to have been transported to San Jose State University (which is where the regional is), or do the robots generally get transported the day before the regional, aka tomorrow (wednesday)? If our robot was already supposed to be there then I'll call Fed-ex ASAP. Thanks

As I understand how crate transport works, FedEx only does the delivery to and from the drayage facilities and your campus. A completly different company actually delivers the crates to and from the storage facility and the venue. FedEx did their part and will be back to the storage location to pick up your crate to ship it to the next location the monday after the competition. You will need your second (third) FedEx lable then and have to make the call on Friday or Saturday to schedule pick-up.

APS
