Re: GTA Regional- THANKS AND CONGRATS

I know that Shyra has already been here for SWAT 771, and would like to second all of her points. (And the team that lent us the battery was Archangel Robotics, St. Mike’s School… I can’t remember the name)

However, she has left a very important person out of all that: herself.

Shyra was probably the most influential person on SWAT, to the team and myself personally. She did it all- from the organizing to the planning to the building, to knowing every single rule in the manual, to the strategy. We spent countless hours together at the school, and she constantly kept us laughing, or groaning at her singing. The wings were her brainchild, and she designed them. I just pointed out the flaws. :P

She claims that she will not come back to the team next year, (and even got into a fight with one of our teachers over it) but we all know better. If she really ends up not coming back, we’ll miss her a lot, and wish her best of luck in the future.

Thank you so much Shyra, for a great Robotics season.

A large thank-you as well to the grads of the team: Samina, Kate, Aylish, Shelly, Sam: You guys were awesome, and hope to see you back next year! The other members of the team were great as well, but I’m out of time, so I can’t mention you all.
