Thanks from 987 in Las Vegas
 

Wow, that was an amazing regional and there are so many people to thank and congratulate! I am so beat and I can't remember everyone's name, but I will try and give credit where it is due to all who made this regional amazing in its first year.

First off, THANK YOU!!! to all the staff, field resetters, planning committee, referees, judges, our way cool MC, volunteers and everyone else who the event would not be possible without. I think the regional was an amazing success in its first year and look forward to attending it for many years to come.

Thank you to teams 64 and 1527 for being such great alliance partners and friends. Also a huge thanks and congratulations to teams 1425, 359, and 991 for being great competitors (and alliances :)) and being such great sports and gracious professionals. Some other teams that I would like to thank for making the regional particularly awesome for me personally are 473, 1425, 1641, 1266, 60, and of course all of the Vegas teams (988,989,990,1631,1703).

There are too many individuals for me to remember (right now because I am so tired) that I really enjoyed meeting and would like to thank. I would especially like to thank Andy Baker though, I really enjoyed meeting and talking with you. I had heard so much about you before the regional and now I know why :)

Anyway, THANKS!! to everyone and I hope to see as many of you as possible at nationals and hopefully next year again in Vegas. I also hope more teams will come to Vegas next year because I'm sure many that attended can tell you how awesome it was, and I would like to meet more FIRSTers :)

Yes, this regional was AWESOME.

I'd like to give a big thanks to Andy Baker for all the help he provided, and congrats to 987, 64, and 1527 for the win.

A HUGE, well-deserved congrats must go to Pattie of team 1505 for the Woodie Flowers Award.

Also, I'd like to thank teams 1266 and especially 1624 for being such awesome teams, and for starting the whole chant for us during alliance selections, you guys are great.

And, of course, I'd like to thank 988 and 1505 for making a great #8 alliance, you guys played great.

Thank you so much. It was really great to meet up with you and your new team and it was fantastic to be allianced with you! Now there has just got to be a story in there somewhere.....

We also want to thank team #988 for picking us to be their alliance! There are so many teams we want to thank but since I don't have the list, I want to thank ALL of the teams at Las Vegas regional for being such fantastic alliances and opponents. Great job by all!!
