Team 492 was 9-0-1 in qualifying and 6-0-1 in the finals. The results on the Website are wrong.

I think you're replying to something I said for last year! :)

well.. i think their will be a lot of GM sponsered teams in the top (seems most GM teams do very well. . its odd.. ).. other then that.. hm... team 66,67 definately .. they are bloody awsome!..

in practice rounds we never lost once, then in competition matches. .. we had a (6:1) record, until 867? pinned us in a corner and other two alliance members died at start :(and we lost 2nd place.., all the way to 11th ..(7:2)..

but still a really fun experience, and we hope to improve our record while at atlanta and prevent that kind of thing from happening, and shure as rain, that we wont get that degree of krummy alliances .. :D

Thought this was going to be a thread about actual teams, eh? hehe :D

I'm curious as to what everyone thinks will be the win/loss record of the top 8 seeded teams.

Yeah, that's the end of my question. So answer it....and tell me why!

The top 8 seeded teams win/loss record? Well it's hard to say because from what i understand the competition is fierce. My guise is that even the 1st seeded team will have at least one loss, but who knows :D

True, but since we're still utilizing W-L-T records in the same way we did in 04, the conversation is still relevant.

If there's a need to split this thread off into last year and this year, let me know.

That is what I was hopping just because it looked like some people were confused.

We went 9-2-0 in qualifying matches, but both of those losses were due to a penalty against someone on our alliance and someone on our team.....decapping our own goals... -.- Essentially, we were undefeated as we carried along many teams. :P

Has anybody gone through a whole regional (playoffs included) without losing a single match? I know that at both the regionals I went to the number one team had one loss.

MOE did at Pittsburgh, we won all our matches up to the up to the second match of finials where our alliance got a 30 pt penalty, that was totally the right call, and then we also lost the 3rd match of finials. But we won every match up to then.

Am I repeating myself?

Team 492 went 15-0-2 at PNW.

I'm pretty sure NO ONE went undefeated at the NJ Regional, and I'm not sure about Philly. I think that at least one loss would be reasonable, or if not that, then one NON-win.

I don't think a team's record necessarily justifies their ability. Perfect example is team 93 - they were dead last at Boilermaker Regional, drafted, and went to the Finals. A team's record doesn't necessarily mean anything - it just may mean the team had a lot of bad luck.

So, remember teams - Scout. Please scout. Thank you. :]
