Poor poor Tom...

If she was anything like how she was on the show, I really hate to think what that marrage would of been like.

So if your looking to pick up girls...maybe go up to them, and ask them if they want to trade pins, and make small talk...hey, i know it worked for those boys...lol! Just be yourself...girls like that....yep....good plan....

LMAO I didn't know you posted this. I don't have any clue who that team form AZ was, but I know all the guys were so %%%% hot those NH girls just couldn't stay out of the pool with em :-)

luv you tens!!

Evil? Whose evil?

The only truly evil person I've met was a parent volunteer for my team last year. She had unchecked power, and unleashed havoc.

Other than that, I don't think I've met anyone else who was evil (wink, wink)

How was the party at the Nats. Wendsay morning, i was ready to pack myself in a crate and fly down there.

Harrison 28-04-2002 20:24

I've heard it was crap...

There's a thread about it in the Championship Event forum.

Melissa Nute 28-04-2002 20:32

The party was crap... oh well.
It would have been better had they played some decent music....

Going back to the original subject of this thread, i have a few pointers guys, and i'm sure if you were one of the ones trying these, you know already:

4.Do not gather your male friends in a circle and shout "girls rule" when a group of chicks pass by. It sounds really gay.

3.Do not shout at american girls in portuguese. They can't understand you.

2.Do not ask a girl if she can show you the way to ford's pit so you can get one of those really cool blue necklaces.

1.Gather up all your team's noisemakers, and burn them conspicuously

Hmm....does that about cover it?

Harrison 29-04-2002 09:45

lol

Amy, might you have had some of those things happen to you in Florida?

At last! Someone else who understands!

All noisemakers should be banned at FIRST events, especially the "banging sticks" and 2 liter soda bottles filled with beans. Those things should be not only burnt, but have their ashes flown into the sun on a disposable rocket, so that their composite atoms may never again be used for such an evil purpose.

Also add plastic whistles to the list, especially in the hands of small children (don’t get me wrong, I like little kids) who blow the whistles constantly, without pause, for 15 minutes during the finals....grrrr..... (anyway getting back to task at hand:)

This thread really has meandered...kind of funny to watch it evolve:D Just thought I'd chip in, and try to gradually get it back on course.

I'll start with a question: Can you tell if someone is "nice" or not by looking at them. I say yes, I think the eyes give it away. If someone is evil, or cruel, the eyes look hollow. If someone is genuine and a nice person to meet and be friends with, their eyes have a different quality.

Anyone else with a similar observation?

"Banging Sticks"

What's wrong with MOE sticks????

btw, we did hand out earplugs- about 3000 -to anyone who asked. So, next year, if you don't feel like listening to the noise, just come by MOE team 365's pit and grabb some earplugs, I'm fairly sure we'll have them next year.

You can tell to some extent I think...But I know some people who look really good, but they are really not nice or anything at all.

You can't always judge a book by it's cover.

Sorry about those whistles...... we were thinking of just not haning them out, but we had to, no matter how annoying they ended up being.....

What's wrong with Moe sticks is that they make noise. I was sitting behind Moe during opening ceremonies on Saturday and was just about to maul one of them when an angel in a green jersey handed me a pair of earplugs. Only problem with the earplugs was that i had to take them out whenever someone wanted to talk to me. I could hear people around me plainly, but apparently being encased in a bubble of silence made me speak too quietly to be understood.

Gar, i hate noisemakers.

I think you can tell a lot about people from their eyes, which is why it bothers me to an extreme when people wear sunglasses. If it's a sunny day, you can be forgiven, but indoors on a cloudy day you have absolutely no excuse for wearing dark glasses.
