Its so cute when guys are polite and hold doors open, even if its for someone else, no matter who they are holding the door for its still a good thing!

I'm stubborned personally... if a guy tries to hold a door open for me, I make them go thru it... but that's just me being me, it's still nice they offered tho...

hmm, let's see what I've learned from this thread. What's the best way to pick up a girl? It Depends! lol, girls can't make up their mind, who would've thought :D ok, that remark prolly won't help me pick any of you up. oh well, I'm just wondering if I'm the only one that's realized from the replies that it pretty much completely depends on the girl.

Well, yes. Too often guys assume there must be SOMETHING they can do to understand girls, forgetting that every girl is different from the others. Is every guy the same? Of course not. Your best bet is to find the type of girl you want to attract. Then ask a girl similar to your type what she likes. :)

One thing I havent heard mentioned...compliments are always good. But think out what you compliment first and make sure you actually MEAN that compliment. Also a universal one....treat the girl like she is your equal in intellegence. This might seem like Im stating the obvious...but Ive had it happen OH too many times to count. Which means respect...which I believe I already stated at one point. While certain things can depend on the girl, others are universal. Just paying attention, and LISTENING to what she says are always good things.

When you try to understand girls as a whole...you are doing a disservice to yourself and to the ladies out there. No woman is the same as another. That means that we all have different likes and dislikes. We are not a species to be deciphered. Which means we all act differently. Just try to figure out what you would LIKE to see in a girl, and look for that trait. And from experience, try to look at the personality as much as the looks. It will save you grief in the long run.

1) Think about your approach
2) Ask Mike Soukup for advise, he has THE BEST dating advise
3) Really listen to that advise and do what he says
4)Try and try again

THATS true.... Im referring to the second part about tigerbolt I mean. the ear....well...Im withholding judgement till I see it a second time in person.

DEFINITELY a good thing, HOWEVER, not as a way to pick girls up. Just make a habit of always treating girls with respect (whether you like them or not!!) so that when you meet *her*, she will know exactly what kind of guy you are.
