WOW! I go away for 4 days and this thread grows 5 pages, congrats everyone! I donno, lots to say, and yet I'm just to lazy.
My experience, robotics guys are generally pretty sweet.. and I must say, there are a lot more good looking guys than i expected. My take on guys: I love a guy that can joke around, that can make me laugh and just be a total joker at times.. I like my guys to be good flirts. I mean, I'm a HUGE flirt and if a guy can't be affectionate and flirt around like that and such, it's just not fun. My big thing with guys and relationships is having fun, I like to be with someone that can keep me smiling, even on rough days. I mean, being a sweetheart is great, but you don't have to be incredibly sweet because most of the time if you be yourself, that's usually sweet enough. Being your self is the best thing you can do, from my observations of my friends and myself, fakeness is the biggest turn off. And much like Nikkie I'm really independent, I'll hold the door for the guy, in fact I prefer to. I mean, guys that do everything for me are repulsive. .meh! anywayz, As for dancing, just go up and chill with another team. If one person starts going to another team, soon the other team members get out there. Also, usually a girl will say yes to a dance. I mean, unless she's busy in which case you probably wouldnt be asking her anyway. It's aton of fun to party with other teams and meet people from somewhere not like where you come from. *sigh* I write novels when I write it seems. Well, hopefully this gives some insight. *hugz to all as alwayz* Ann-Marie |

*runs off crying* Well, maybe not crying...But disappointed. |
Major dissapointment..but oh well...next year i guess, since my team is odd, but still :( <-for me
Last year in Florida, I was locked in a hotel room, and did excel until 3 AM. Next year, I'm going on a 3 day, never ending party, and am leaving the laptop HOME. I already passed the strategy torch onto others: now I am free, free at last! Sunshine, robotics, people, (did I mention sunshine?) what more could you ask for? |
