Is there a autonomous mode for the vex challenge?
Does any body know which jumpers on the control module correspond with the motors?

There is no autonomous mode in VEX this year, though I suspect there will be in future years.

As to which jumpers correspond to which motors, I can only advise you to check the VEX manual. There are complex behaviors for playing games like tag etc. This is probably a subject too complex to explain here.
